"QURAN AND THE SUNNAH" or "QURAN AND THE IMAM"

So it looks like ismailis get critisized for every small thing. This time lets talk about the all time debate and see why the ismailis listen to why the ismailis follow what "Imam-e-Zaman" says about the quran instead of following the "sunnah of the prophet". Since ismailis have been accused of not reading the Quran i am going to give ayats and I am going to give hadiths. Both supporting the Imamat and not the sunnah of the prophet. Lets start with the quran wear it specifically lays down Imamat (unlike what sunnis believe).

QURAN
02:124 SHAKIR: And when his Lord tried Ibrahim with certain words, he fulfilled them. He said: Surely I will make you an Imam of men. Ibrahim said: And of my offspring? My covenant does not include the unjust, said He.

Note that allah had made Prophet Ibrahim an "Imam". Prophet Ibrahim then asked "and of my offspring" allah said he will not include unjust. Imam Ali is an offspring of Prophet Ibrahim and he was not unjust so "Imam Ali" is an Imam. Agha Khan is the appointed "Imam" according to the ismailis.

5:55SHAKIR: Only Allah is your Vali and His Messenger and those who believe, those who keep up prayers and pay the poor-rate while they bow.

This is the most strongest proof that allah has appointed Imams to guide us to the straight path. Vali comes from the word Wali. Both mean the same and that is "Master". So the quran is saying that our Vali is allah, the messangers and those who believe. I have heard some sunnis claim that we are the masters of each other if they praye and pay the poor rate and bow down in prayer. That is not true because the quran says "those who keep up prayhers and pay the poor rate while they bow". Only one person and one person has done this and this is "Imam Ali". It is said that while imam ali was Bowing down a poor man came in to the mosque looking for some one to help him and Imam Ali held his hand out and gave the poor men his ring while he was bowing down . Sunnis at this point will say wait one word misspronounced will change the quranic interpretation and say that other quranic translation say's this

PICKTHAL: Your guardian can be only Allah; and His messenger and those who believe, who establish worship and pay the poordue, and bow down (in prayer).

To them i say you believe in the hadiths ways to much wait until i provide hadiths to back up my stance.

4:059 shakir O you who believe! obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority from among you; then if you quarrel about anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you believe in Allah and the last day; this is better and very good in the end.

Lets break this ayat down into two peaces.

First allah says: "O you who believe! obey allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority from among you...."

Allah tallah says to obey hm, his messangers and the authority that is amongst us. First it is clear why allah says to obey himself and his messangers but at the same time it say's to obey "authority". Who is this authority amongst us. This is the Imam Of the Time who is choosen by allah. Sunnis claim that the authority is our goverment and the police. I disagree because why would allah tell us to follow people who can lead us to the wrong path. At this the sunnis say stop look at the next line:
"then if ya qurall about anything refer it to allah and his messanger"

My first arguement is that this verse was given to us if two ordinary people listen to what the "Imam Of The Time" fight over what the "Imam Of The Time" meant when he makes a ruling. For example lets say that their was a speach from the "Imam Of The Time" about "education" and two muslims take different interpretation then refer to allah and his messanger.

Know lets say that the sunnis are right and say that the two muslim's disagree. They look at the quran and the sunnah. Each of the Muslim will first interpret the quran that he wants to interpret the quran as or interpret the messanger of allahs words the way he wants to interpret it as. The disagreement is still their then what? The reply of the sunni will be look at the educated scholors. My arguement is that even the scholors disagree with each other then what?

before finishing with the quranic verses allah tallah has told us to follow the quran and the Imam's who are appointed by allah. Now I am not saying that we must not follow the prophet. allah tallah has told us to refer to the prophet but after we seek the help of the "Imam of the time" and we still disagree.

ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT THAT ALLAH SAYS THAT THE QURAN IS GOING TO BE PROTECTED FROM ALL EVILS. HOW WOULD ALLAH PROTECT THE QURAN. WOULD HE LEAVE THE QURAN TO BE PROTECTED BY PEOPLE LIKE THE AL QIDA, TALIBANS AND SADDAM HUSSAIN OR GIVE PROTECT IT THROUGH "THE IMAM OF THE TIME"

Hadiths

the only thing i need to say is look at the Ghadir e Khum Hadith if that is not proof enough i dont know what is

Again, all my respect to all Muslims. All due respect to the Agha Khan and all his followers (not to say that I think they are not Muslims).
I would like to thank you for any effort made to enlighten our fellow Muslims and guide them to the right path, but your tone speaks as though you have the absolute truth. Keep in mind that only God has the absolute truth about everything in the Quran and we are all humans and can err.

02:124 SHAKIR: And when his Lord tried Ibrahim with certain words, he fulfilled them. He said: Surely I will make you an Imam of men. Ibrahim said: And of my offspring? My covenant does not include the unjust, said He.
1)First Imam is not necessarily a proper noun or title, it is a word and possible to translate
2) "an Imam of men" there can be MANY imams (like those in "sunni mosques")
3)With all due respect to the Agha Khan, I find it hard to believe that he is the ONLY just descendant of Abraham...for example, millions of Arabs today are descendants of Abraham (are they ALL unjust?)
4)If read closely God never says yes or no. He never said I will make the just ones Imams

"Only Allah is your Vali and His Messenger and those who believe, those who keep up prayers and pay the poor-rate while they bow. "

As for Imam Ali being the only person to bow and give charity at the same time then I am sure other just descendants of Abraham are capable and willing to help others during prayer, do they become Imams?

4:059 shakir O you who believe! obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority from among you; then if you quarrel about anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you believe in Allah and the last day; this is better and very good in the end.

First, you can not generalize about Sunnis like that because unlike Ismailis no one speaks for Sunnis as a group (most Sunni groups are actually in disagreement with their governments). Second Abu bakr and Umar were both in authority over the Muslim Ummah at points in time (do you believe we should have obeyed them?)
