five pillars of islam

So ismailis are being attacked for not doing the five pillars of islam. That my friend is a rediculus thing to say because ismailis do the five pillars.

1. praying- ismailis do pray of course they dont pray five times a day but three times a day. Remember our beloved prophet even prayed three times a day. My question is if the Prophet prays three times a day why cant mere human beings pray three times a day? As long as the prayer has ayats and 17 rakats it should be ok right. Infact ismailis do have ayats and they do 18 rakats. Of course the wording and the gestures during prayer are different. Remember the quran doesnt tells us how to say our prayers but tells us to do prayer. Know before you attack ismailis about not following the sunnah remember that shias and most importantly the shia imami ismaili muslim claim that the prophet said "I am leaving behind two things the quran and the ahl al bayat follow these two and you will never go wrong". The agha khan is part of the Ahl Al Bayat according to the ismailis

2. Zakat- ismailis do this and give 12.5% of there income into zakat a big amount dont you think

3.Fasting- the ismailis maintain that there are two kinds of fast the physical and the spirtual. Ismaili do both. if there are ismailis that dont do the physical fast they are like other muslims who dont do the physical fast

4. shahada- ismailis say the shahahda

5. Hajj- First off if we were allowed into Makkah then maybe we would do this but any ways their are some requirments before doing hajj. The first requirment is that you must have money. the second requirment is that your family obligations are fullfilled, the third requirment is that you family must be able to live with out you, the fourth requirment is that the needy are fed and the neighbors are well looked after and if they need money for hajj you give it to them or if they need food you give your hajj money to them. IF ALL OF THESE REQUIRMENTS ARE FULLFILLED THEN YOU CAN GO TO HAJJ AND IF NOT YOU CANT AND IF YOU DO THEN YOUR HAJJ MEANS NOTHING. So no muslims in this world are ready for hajj

intro to shia imami ismaili muslim

Well hello and welcome this is my first blog. I finally decided to do somthing productive that will make a big difference. First of i am a proud shia imami ismaili muslim. Yes i said it i am a proud shia imam ismaili muslim. I know by now all of you mainstream muslim will laugh at this but who cares. Today i will begin this discussion lets see if i can get a dialoug from you all. Before i begin let me give some info about shia ismailis. This is what the first blog will do just discuss the basics for those who dont know who the ismailis are.

INTRODUCTION

ismailism starts form a early start. It starts from Ghadir E Khum. To find out more about this historic event go to this website: http://www.al-islam.org/ghadir/incident.htm. Shortly after that the BELOVED PROPHET DIED AND EVERY ONE KNOWS EXACTLY THE EVENTS THAT FOLLOWED. Hazrat Abu Bakr had becoem the first kaliph. Soon after words the historic BATTLE OF KARBALA BEGAN. I am sure every one knows about this so i wont go into that much details about it. I am going to skip to the time of Imam Jaffar Sadiq wear there was a split in the Shia community between the succession of Imam Ismail and Hazrat Musa Kasim. The ismailis claim that Imam Jaffar Sadiq had chosen Imam Ismail has the next imam hear are the proofs:

"Many years before the death of Ja'far al-Sadiq in A. H. 148, when the command of God came to him, Ja'far had designated his son Ismail to be his successor" (. Ja'far ibn Mansur, Asrar al Nutaqa, p.-81 Tr. By W.Ivanow, in The Rise of the Fatimids, p.275)

"Thus Ismail became the gate to God, His praying niche, the Abode of His Light and the link (sabab) between Him and His creations, The Lieutenant of God on earth. " (Ibid., p. 94, Tr.p. 291 )

On another occasion in the presence of Isma'il, Imam Ja'far-al Sadiq is reported to have said: "He is the Imam after me, and what you learn from him is just the same as if you have learnt it from myself. " (Ibid., p. 95, Tr.p. 292 )

The followers of Hazrat Musa Kasim say that Imam Ismail had died many years before Imam Jaffar Sadiq so Imam Jaffar Sadiq appointed Hazrat Musa Kasim. My question to this is did Imam Jaffar Sadiq make a mistake? Of course not cause Imams are infaliable and cant make mistakes. So what happened. Remember at this time the beloved Imams were still at threat and Imam Ismail life was in threat. Know i am denying that there wasnt a funeral. Of course there was and that was Imam Ismail's Twins funeral. No one knew about this twin except the most trusted of Imam Jaffar Sadiq. Imam Jaffar Sadiq pretended that the twin of Imam Ismail was the actually Imam Ismail and sent Imam Ismail into hiding and at this funeral to protect imam ismail Imam Jaffar sadiq made Imam Musa Kasim the speaking Imam. of course i will also say that Imam Musa Kasim was an Imam but he was only the speaking Imam and the silent Imam was Imam Ismail but the Imamat was not supposed to stay with Imam Musa Kasim's family but Imam Ismail family. Remember the same had happened earlier when Imam Hassain was an Imam. Imamat did not continue in his family but Imam Hussain family. Know history keeps going we have Imam Ismail, Imam Wafi Ahmad, Imam Taki muhammad, Imam Rassudin Abdullilah, and finally Imam Mahdi when Imam Mehdi finally made the Fatimid Empire. This was the most glorious empire ever. The shia Imam Ismailis lost there power after Caliph Imam Mustansirbillah died. Another split came Imam Nizars younger brother had taken the power of Imam Nizar away and point Imam Nizar into prison. This split made the Musta Ali's and Nizari muslims. Imam Nizar escaped prision and fled. History keeps going and going. Finally we have the Imam Hasan Ali shah who is the first Agha Khan, Imam Aqa Ali Shah the second agha khan, Imam Sultan mohummad shah the third agha khan and finally shah karim al hussani hazar imam the fourth agha khan and the present agha khan.
